2021-2022 NYHL Learn to Skate

You are about to register online for the NYHL Learn to Skate Program for the 2021-2022 season. 

If you have at least 1 hockey player currently participating in the NYHL log into your existing account so that you can use the information currently stored in the system.  If you don't know your password, you can leave the password blank on the login page and a password will be emailed to you.  If you are new to the program please create a new account.

Make sure to enter at least one email address for a parent or guardian as the majority of our communications will be through email.

 

Details of the program are as follows:

The LTS program will be held on Sunday mornings beginning on 10/17/2021 and ending on 1/30/2022 (15 sessions).  The cost of the program will be $185.00 per participant and $100.00 for additional siblings.  Each class will run from 10:00 AM – 10:50 AM at the Graf Rink in Newburyport.

Learn to Skate participants are required to wear a protective helmet (hockey or bicycle) and ice skates.  It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that participants also wear protective knee pads, elbow pads, and gloves/mittens.  Please make sure the name of your son/daughter is written on white tape on the front of his/her helmet.

COVID Updates – at this time there are no special COVID regulations to participate in the Learn to Skate Program or to use the facility.  The Newburyport Youth Hockey League will continue to monitor the situation and will send out updates if there is any new information.  For more information regarding the facility please visit the Graf Rink website www.thegrafrink.com.

All coaches and helpers for Learn to Skate are required by USA Hockey to wear a hockey helmet while on the ice and must be registered with USA Hockey as a volunteer for insurance before stepping on the ice.  USA Hockey Registration can be accessed by clicking https://membership.usahockey.com/. All volunteers must also complete the required SafeSport Training program prior to participation.
